Back in May, April from the April's Bookworld blog and the YouTube channel Aprilius Maximus had a chance to read Shadows of the Master, the first book in Emily Rodda's upcoming series Star of Deltora. She made a short review of the book in the video above, but meanwhile linked to a longer, more in-depth written review on her blog. It is a very informative review. It tells us when the book takes place and the basic gist of what it is about. I do warn people, however, that the written review contains minor spoilers, so for anyone who wish to wait until August in order to read the book themself and discover everything for the first time, you may want to stay away from this. Anyone who knows anything about April knows that she is a huge Deltora Quest and Emily Rodda fan. The Deltora Quest books were the ones that got her into reading, and she tries to read the whole series once every year.
