The Rithmere Games is the sixteenth episode of Deltora Quest.

SynopsisEdit

Lief and his friends are in danger of missing the games when they are locked in their rooms at the inn and threatened by a stranger.

PlotEdit

The companions have been locked up in their room by a stranger, and yell to be freed by Mother Brightly. They've wondered if they were too late to play but Mother Brightly assures them they can play. After eating they walk to the ring. They are to pick one of three weapons to use to fight and choose an opponent. Lief sticks his mallet in Glock's mouth when he tries to challenge him. Barda pushes his opponent off the ring. Jasmine tries to challenge the stranger they met at Tom's shop, believing him to be the one to steal their key and lock them in their room, but was annoyed when someone else challenges her. She tricks him into crashing into Lief's opponent. The three companions all make it to the finalists, as well as Joanna, Orwen, Glock, Neridah, and Doom, the stranger with a jagged scar, the companions being known as 'Berry'-Barda, 'Birdie'-Jasmine, and 'Twig'-Lief. Mother Brightly says she knew the companions would make it.
