How've you been Lapis? I've been making a few changes around the wiki. I'd like to discuss some of them with you actuallly. Hopefully you've already notcied some!
Hi! I've been good, finally got past the biggest chunk of work I had. I was basically doing schoolwork nonstop for the last few weeks, but I actually have time to work on articles again now.
I have noticed some of them, but I haven't been able to devote my full attention to the Wiki until just recently. What were you thinking about?
Congratulations LapisScarab! You have made Second-In Command. You are now in charge of the Wiki while I am gone not able to get touch with for whatever reasons. About the books tab, wouldn't it be more prudent (am I using this right? XD) to use the actual names of the series, like "Deltora Shadowlands" for Deltora Quest 2, "Dragons of Deltora" for Deltora Quest 3, and just "Deltora Quest" for Deltora Quest 1?
Currently under the content section of the front page, Allies only contains "Dread Gnomes," when you can, please add everyone else (Ralads, D'Or, Jalis, Mere, Plains etc. etc.
I've added the primary tribes for now. I don't really like that section, since it's a bit over simplified, but it's a bit better now, since it's at least more complete. Thanks for telling me, Kaiflame!
I actually don't think Soldeen should have a page for himself; it would be better if it were merged with Nanion's. But add what you want for now and I'll merge them later. I'd put is as "Sea serpent (enchanted)"
Thanks for editing the Topaz Territory page! Haha, I made it so dodgy! Yeah, it needs to be re-written and I'll change the template a bit too. I'm really eager to make the territory pages, as I hope you are too. I'm glad you'll be more active this week! Been kinda lonely without ya!
No problem! Out of curiosity, which do you think is better: Naming the territories after their gems (Topaz territory, Emerald territory, etc.) or their tribes (Del territory, Ralad territory)? Both are used in the series.
Hmm. I was thinking about that too...In the map of Deltora in Secrets of Deltora, it uses Topaz territory ect. We could just make redirect pages for the other names. Hmmm.
YEah, my issue is that the main series uses "territory of the Dread Gnomes/Mere, etc.", but Dragons of Deltora and books written around that time use "Topaz territory". I'm thinking the latter might be better, since it's less redundant. Redirects and disambiguation pages would definitely need to be made (I can do those no problem)
Just wanted your feedback o nthe new look of the main page! Anything you would like to add? I'm willing to also change the theme a bit too, as it could do with some slight improvments.
I think it looks great! My only critique is that, on my end at least, the background image isn't quite centered. All of the image is contained in the right side of the page. If it could be more centered, I think it would look perfect.
Haha, thanks! I should be able to make some progress with editing starting around Thursday. The first few days of the week are really busy for me, haha
Thanks! Yeah, it's a problem because the file size has to be pretty small, so any image with a lot in it either has to be really bad quality or not used at all. I orignally had it on the right on purpose, but I think I should be able to add another image on the left!

Hey Lapis! Hope you like the new background and wordmark!,
I was just wondering whether we might want to enable Acheivements and Chat? I could easily make some badges, which would be a good incentive for more people to edit. Chat could also be used as a way to get to know people better, as well as discussing anything- a lot easier than writing on a message wall.
I'm an old man as far as Wiki's go and I don't know a great deal about either of those features (I actually kind of hate the current Wikia layout). I don't like the idea of the achievements and chat in concept, but if they'll incentivize editing then they're worth a shot.
I'm doing well, thanks. I'm trying to figure out the best way to write the articles on the main series books. Once I figure out a system I like I can take care of all of them pretty quick.
