The king's feast riddle was the second riddle given to Lief by a pack of Granous.[1]

History Edit

Cavern of The Fear Edit

After successfully completing his first riddle, the Granous pack presented Lief with this rhyme:

A king dined with his sister,
His friend and his friend's wife.
All of them were greedy beasts
Who loved food more than life.
At last three pies alone remained
There wasn't any knife.
How did they all have equal shares,
And save themselves from strife?[1]

Lief was able to solve the riddle by guessing that the best friend's wife was also the king's sister, therefore there were enough pies for everyone.[1]
