Fliss was a girl from theValley of Gold who lived during the time in which his people disappeared. Fliss is an ancestor of the people of Rin. She was the keeper of the silks. Rowan, Zeel, Norris and Shaaran found the bones of Fliss and his friends Evan the bukshah herder and Bron inside the heart of the Mountain when they journeyed there to find out how to stop the ice creepers. Fliss looked almost exactly like Shaaran.
